The Green Room on Islington Radio is a monthly radio show hosted by Shane Morgan featuring guests from the world of theatre.

Launched in September 2021, the show features insights from writers, directors, actors, producers, fight directors,
movement directors, stage management...the list is exhaustive.

Each episode also features three tracks chosen by the guest:
1. A track that inspires or motivates you.
2. A track that you associate with the beginning of your professional creative journey.
3. A track that always brings you back to yourself

Shane Morgan is Director of Roughhouse Theatre.
He is an award winning director, producer, writer and facilitator of theatre and audio projects. .

Shane trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
His work includes stage adaptations of the Nick Hornby short story NippleJesus and the Daniel Wallace novel
Mr. Sebastian and the Negro Magician under the title Henry Walker and the Wheel of Death. ​

As director, his recent credits include The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, Hands Up For Jonny Wilkinson's Right Boot,
When The Eye Has Gone, The Long Walk Back, Getting The Third Degree and Unknown

Shane was editor and producer of the award winning audio documentary N17.
​​
He is also an Associate Director of the Rondo Theatre, Bath and a regular contributor to BBC Radio Bristol,
Broadway World, Bristol 24/7 and is a syndicated writer for My Theatre Mates.
